Moira Kapral

Dr. Kapral is a general internist at the Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, a Senior Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Ontario (ICES), a member of the University Health Network Women's Health Program, and a Scientist with the Canadian Stroke Network. 

She holds an MD degree and an MSc degree in Clinical Epidemiology, both from the University of Toronto. She holds a Career Investigator Award from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research. Her research interests include stroke health services research and women's health.

She is currently involved in coordinating the Registry of the Canadian Stroke Network, and evaluating the effectiveness of the Ontario Stroke Strategy.
