Indra Pulcins is Director, Indicators and Performance Measurement at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). 

As a health services researcher with a strong interest in health care performance measurement and the determinants of health, she has been responsible for the development of national health indicators at CIHI and involved in the development of an international health indicators conceptual framework.

Dr Pulcins participates in a number of national and provincial/territorial health data initiatives, acts in a consultative capacity to external projects, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops.  As an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Toronto, she conducts a graduate course on the Strategic Uses of Health Information. 

She received a doctoral degree from the Department of Heath Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and has worked in a variety of research and clinical settings.
