Aisha Lofters
Aisha Lofters is a family physician at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto and a PhD student in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto. She is also a funded researcher with the University of Toronto's Department of Family and Community Medicine, and Global Health Scholar for St. Michael's Hospital Department of Family and Community Medicine.
She currently holds a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Gradate Scholarship Doctoral Award from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and is a CIHR Strategic Training Fellow in the Transdisciplinary Approach to the Health of Marginalized Populations.
Her current research is focussed on cervical cancer screening among immigrant women in Ontario
